Stupid ass digital TV switchover!!!  My fucking TV won't work now because for some reason it refuses to recognize the signal that ITS FUCKING EQUIPPED to recognize!!!!   So we went out and bought a new, more powerful antenna. Motherfucking $38 that I can't afford later, the fucking thing STILL won't fucking work!!!!   So overnight I went from having 4 shitty channels to having 0!   *punches desk*

This was based on my truly ridiculous experience on an lj community today.

So, wanna hear something stupid? My brother had to proctor a karate test today. My parents, having completely forgotten about this, immediately assumed that Victor had stolen one of their cars and was driving to Seattle to live with me. So, not only was I blamed for this supposed run away attempt; I was expected to fix it by somehow getting ahold of Vic and convincing him to go home. Mom calls me up screaming and crying and blah, blah, fucking blah. Says Dad's so mad he's going to kill Vic if I don't figure out where the hell Vic is. And it just went on and on. Finally, Vic comes home from the karate test thing to find out that between Mom and Dad he had 63 missed calls on his cellphone. Let me reiterate: SIXTY-MOTHERFUCKING-THREE. Within 4 hours. KIIIIIILL. >.<

I really wish this sort of thing didn't keep happening. Seems like something to this effect is happening once a month or more. Moreover, I'm sick of it always being my fault. I've got my own shit going on. I'm trying to raise a three year old, repair my marriage, find a job, keep up with family and friends, etc. They need to deal with their own shit and leave me out of it.

So, while innocently clicking around Pandagon, what do I find but a link to this really bizarre website devoted entirely to "Christian Domestic Discipline". Basically the idea is that a husband gets to spank his wife, sometimes for hours at a time, if he feels she has disobeyed him in some way. "For her own good", was how it was put. I guess they think its God's Will that a man should "correct" his wife with corporal punishment. I can't even articulate the crazy of this site. You just have to read it for yourself. Click around and read how completely insane these people are. And the best part? The best part is that the author claims to be a woman.  Words just fail me.
